I hope you enjoy your novel! What do you think will happen to David? Why do you think his mum decided to abuse him and not his other siblings? Why him? How would you describe his mum?

Well, already in the beginning you get that he will live like this many years, but I didn’t get how ugly it would get. Why she chooses him? I really don’t know, but I guess that one day she just lost it, and got sick. Because a normal person would never do like this to her own son. When she tells him that his a bad boy, and can’t eat with the family, in the beginning he really thinks that it is his on fault, I mean, what little boy wouldn’t, if your mum says something, you believe it. And that’s what he did; he really thought that he was a bad boy.
His mum was clever, because on the outside she was the perfect mother, and no one got that he was abused. But still, she was an alcoholic and didn’t have control over herself from time to time.

intruduction.

I chose to read the book “A child called ‘it’”. This is a true story about a boy named David. The story is about the author himself and his life as a little kid. It’s about he’s struggle in life, with a mother that hits him, not just hitting him, she is torturing him. How he becomes slave, for a mother who was the best mother in the world in the begging, then from nowhere- She is turning in to a monster.
The book starts very dramatic. (The whole book is acutely very dramatic.) That is something that the author made very good- you can’t stop reading, you just need to know what’s going to happen to the little boy. Already in the first page he makes you understand that his mother is hitting him. He makes it clear for everyone that she is cruel. The first chapter is about the ending of the story and called “rescue” here you get a small picture about how his life is. You don’t understand how really awful it is but you get some hints of it. You get a clear picture who’s the good people and who’s the bad ones.
He makes you want to continue read because, like I said he makes you get a small picture so you have to continue to know more. Not a slow start, more like “bam” and she hits him, with no forewarning in the next chapter “the good times” he tells you about the life before it all started, how nice is mother was. This is a good progress and it makes you stuck in the book.

First insertion.

I have started this blog in with one reason, and that is: school work.
We got a task from our English teacher to read a book, and then once a week we need to write different things about the book.
So, the book I chose to read is: A child called ‘it’. And I’m really looking forward to read it!
